Bioencapsulation covers a broad range of topics (pharmacy, biotechnology, agriculture, cosmetics ...) and also many scientific disciplines (chemistry, biology, physics, engineering ...). It represents an efficient way to introduce a multidisciplinary training. On the other hand, young researchers involved in the field often have a restricted vision of the domain and its application.

The summer school will be organized as follows :

• The program includes 12 lectures of 1.5 hours and 2 half-days demonstrations in the lab and pilot equipment, covering a large panel of technologies on microencapsulation.
• Each speaker will provide a copy of his/her slides and/or a text corresponding to his/her contribution.
• The official language of the summer school will be english.
• The selection of up to 50 participants will be done by the organizing committee (see registration for priority rules). For the demonstrations, participants will be divided in 3 or 4 groups.
• Up to 30 grants will be attributed to students who register to the COST865 summer school (see registration).
• Participation is not limited to COST865 area members.
• The summer school is open to industrials at their own expenses.
