COST865 2010 Spring Meeting, Cluj Napoca, Romania - May 6-8, 2010

This workshop will join together around 60 participants from 25 countries on the topic "Microencapsulation and safety" This may include topic like ... how to improve safety using microcapsules ? How to produce capsules in safe condition ?

COST865 2010 training school, Dijon, France - June 29 to July 2, 2010

This training school will cover a large range of applications and technologies based on microencapsulation. It will include lectures from experts and demonstrations on lab and pilote scale systems.

XVIII International Conference on Bioencapsulation, Lisbon, Portugal ; Sept. 23-25, 2010

Research a host lab for microcapsule characterisation

Prof. AO Okhamafe, from University of Benin, editor of the African Journal of Pharmpacy, is looking for assitance. Matthew Arhewoh, his student, is in the final stages of his doctoral work, focusing on microencapsulation of herbal medicinal extracts. He will require some advanced analytical facilities (DSC, FTIR, x-ray diffraction ...) to characterise the microcapsules in the concluding part of the lab work. Matthew is looking to spend about a month in a lab to undertake the required work. All travel. accommodation and other costs will be borne entirely by him. Please contact to or
